ISRO’s vision soared, a radiant, resplendent sight.

Aditya L1, a mission bold and grand,

To touch the sun’s fiery heart, with a gentle hand.

From Indian shores, the rocket ascends high,

Carrying hopes and aspirations to the sky.

ISRO’s finest minds, with precision and grace,

Launch Aditya to the sun, to explore its face.

A dance with solar flares, a celestial ballet,

Aditya embarks on its luminous array.

Observing the star, where life’s essence is born,

Unveiling its secrets from night until morn.

In the quiet of space, it diligently observes,

Solar winds and storms, as science prescribes.

Aditya L1, a testament to human might,

In the quest for knowledge, we reach for the light.

In the land where Bengali thrives and flows,

Friends gather ’round and merrily propose,

“Your language is truly a joyful spree,”

But why, I ask, what’s the mystery?

“You call it water, yet you eat it too,

Oh, water for eating? What can you do?”

With a smile, I say, “Yes, indeed,

If our menu’s mastered, hunger won’t impede.”

“How does that work?” they ask, intrigued and keen,

As we Bengalis consume things quite unforeseen.

We drink, but not just that, oh no, it’s true,

We float, we dive, in waters we imbue.

Not just water, Bengalis embrace with glee,

Milk, tea, coffee, they sip delightfully,

Even sharbat finds a place in their glass,

And yes, the drink you’re thinking, they do not surpass.

It’s not just liquids, but more to explore,

    Bengalis light cigarettes, bidis galore,

Weak stomachs that can’t digest much more,

Yet they too partake in the “gas” that they store.

Is anything left to be devoured, you say?

When opportunities arise, they munch away,

Even in trouble, they’ll “eat trouble,” it’s told,

In adversity’s grasp, they’re still bold.

Though I can’t claim to know it all,

Bengalis, indeed, are diverse in their thrall,

    With multifarious tastes that unfold,

In Bengali’s world of food, stories are told.

Bengali cars run on petrol, it’s heard,

Diverse preferences in each model stirred,

Skyward the kite soars, a “gote” it’s named,

On earth, crickets chirp, flames in night’s frame.

And what of eating in other tongues,

Has any poet penned gastronomic songs?

    “Khai Khai Kore, Keno?

    Es Bosh Ahar-e,

    Khaob Ajob Khawa,

    Bhoj Koio Jahaare…”

The search for epicurean verses beyond,

Leads to the Bengali poet who so fond,

Started poetic life with words of food,

Kazi Nazrul, a taste so shrewd.

“Milk we boil till it’s thick,

    With banana’s tender quick,

    Sending messages with every spoon,

    Sputtering sounds in silent tune,

    Caterpillar cries upon the leaves.”

And then there’s Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar,

Who penned “Dudhe Bhat,” a foodie star,

His wedding wish unique and grand,

“A son of mine, milk and rice in hand.”

So even in vows, food remains supreme,

In Bengali language, a recurring theme,

“Rice and milk, why ask for more?”

    Such curious cravings they explore.

    A love for flavors, a gourmet’s delight,

Bengali poets, their verses take flight,

Exploring tastes with words so bright,

From nimbu to kathal, in every bite.

Even the great Swami Vivekananda knew,

A pure mind makes cuisine taste true,

“If you can’t relish a simple dish,

    Monastic life, you cannot relish.”

In Kolkata, a foreign soul once roved,

Observing food habits that Bengalis loved,

They pondered breakfast, already lunch’s plight,

And contemplated dinner before the night.

So, why not embrace this Bengali creed?

To eat water and fulfill every need,

For in this language, a culture resides,

Where food and words harmoniously collide.

Bengalis enjoy “Khaipha” in every hue,

With such diversity, they dare to imbue,

And while some might laugh or tease,

In every dish, their heart’s delight they seize.

So, let Bengalis savor and munch with glee,

In the land where Bengali flows so free,

Their culinary journey, unique and bold,

In this tale of flavors, stories are told.

In the state of Georgia, in the United States,

Within Georgia Gwinnett College’s educational gates,

Lies a classroom where stories intertwine,

A tale of culture and learning, divine.

Ramata Sisoko, a woman of grace,

From Mali’s land, her roots embrace,

With a doctorate in Biological Sciences, a feat,

She imparts knowledge, her students she’ll greet.

A professor at heart, in the realm of learning,

Teaching Biological Sciences, her passion burning,

Nurturing minds, she guides them to excel,

Her students, like gems, in wisdom they dwell.

Let’s step into that classroom scene,

    Where Ramata imparts knowledge serene,

Your attention’s drawn to the back of the room,

Yes, a child sits there, amidst the intellectual bloom.

She holds a child, as if her own,

    Teaching ancestral traditions, well known,

A child of her homeland’s rich embrace,

In Georgia, she nurtures, with cultural grace.

The child sheds tears, a classroom in view,

Remember, she’s far from her land, it’s true,

Though in America’s land, she’s taken the time,

To instill African culture, rhythm, and rhyme.

This act of immense worth and might,

Touched the hearts of her students in sight,

A candid moment that deeply touched their core,

A picture capturing a lesson, worth much more.

The image spread with swiftness and grace,

Through media channels, in every place,

Praised by readers, viewers, far and wide,

For such a story, no emotions to hide.

Why did this small incident stir so deep,

In the hearts of those who viewed and weep?

    Because true education, knowledge refined,

    Transcends borders, cultures entwined.

Ramata’s act was a lesson profound,

An unspoken language, in actions found,

She held the child close, a tender display,

African heritage, kept alive in today.

And in her arms, that small one’s rest,

For three hours, an act that’s the best,

She showed no weariness, no sense of time,

    African motherhood, a rhythm sublime.

This tale resonates beyond the room’s walls,

Teaching a lesson, as the story recalls,

To preserve your roots, your heritage to claim,

In a world that’s diverse, do the same.

Never lose sight of your identity’s hold,

Let cultural threads weave stories untold,

For in a world that’s vast, rich, and wide,

Your heritage shines, like a beacon’s guide.

In lands of fame and fan love’s domain,

A southern superhero did rise, remain,

His timeless gaze reached all hearts, wide and far,

A champion of justice, a southern superstar.

Amidst workdays’ hum and city’s pace,

He emerged, a devotee without a trace,

Announcing Tamil Nadu’s moment of leisure,

An ardent follower of the divine treasure.

    At seventy-three, an age well-earned,

Confident and unique, he left no stone unturned,

    Unwavering spirit, a confident soul,

In simple attire, he played his role.

A personality pure, free of showbiz art,

He thrived in life’s battle, a rising chart,

Carved from challenges, the peaks he did climb,

In the journey of life, he stood the test of time.

In the realm of politics, he found his place,

A leader to follow, with unwavering grace,

Yet always anchored, spiritual in heart,

With a humble demeanor, he played his part.

He called himself a blessed soul,

Eighteen years old, with wisdom as his goal,

    Ramakrishna’s teachings, his guiding star,

In the mission’s embrace, he traveled far.

    A yogi’s spirit in a superstar’s frame,

Rajnikant, a devotee, untouched by fame,

In the world of entertainment, he held a crown,

Yet as Ramakrishna’s devotee, his faith was known.

From the bustling sets of Tamil cinema’s hold,

He ventured forth, his destiny foretold,

    A Marathi family’s son, a humble start,

Yet the path to greatness, he did impart.

From the pious Ramakrishna Mission’s lore,

He imbibed wisdom, its teachings he bore,

From Vedic chants to spiritual grace,

He walked the path, a dedicated embrace.

In the world of films, his talents did shine,

Playing characters deep, his every line,

Yet amidst the glamour, his faith did grow,

    Ramakrishna’s ideals, his life’s undertow.

In the year twenty-eighteen, a journey began,

From Darjeeling’s charm to Tamil Nadu’s plan,

Amidst political storms and the people’s cheer,

In Ramakrishna Mission’s fold, his heart drew near.

A devotee’s gesture, with humility to the core,

Rajnikant paid homage, his faith he wore,

A humble salute to his spiritual guide,

In simple attire, he stood by his side.

In politics, his course he did steer,

A party he formed, the path he made clear,

Yet his faith stayed strong, his purpose aligned,

In Ramakrishna’s teachings, his spirit enshrined.

Amidst it all, his image remained pure,

A spiritual aura, of that we can be sure,

With every step, he lives by his faith,

In the realm of devotion, he finds his wraith.

Rajnikant, the name that resonates strong,

A spiritual force, amidst the worldly throng,

A living testament to faith and grace,

In this world of stars, he finds his place.

A soul enigmatic, a superstar unique,

With a presence profound, even the meek,

In this way, he shines, no makeup or guise,

Rajnikant, the embodiment of the divine rise.
