In the rush of life, so fast, so loud,
Where dreams are chased through drifting cloud,
Our bodies weary, minds distressed—
In silent pain, our hearts confessed.
But ancient wisdom softly calls,
Through temple paths and sacred halls.
A gentle art, both firm and kind,
To heal the body, free the mind.
Pranayama, breath so deep,
Wakes the soul from restless sleep.
Nadi Shodhana clears the way,
Where energies and balance play.
Ujjayi’s wave, a sea of calm,
Brings the spirit healing balm.
Sitali cools the fire within,
While Bhastrika stirs strength again.
Kapalabhati, purging light,
Makes the darkened channels bright.
Surya Bhedana warms the core,
Bhramari’s hum opens the door.
Then comes the grace of Yoga’s art,
A dance of soul, a beating heart.
Twelve asanas, firm yet free,
Align us with divinity.
Sirsasana, the world reversed,
A crown of thought, in stillness versed.
Sarvangasana, limbs in flight,
A posture pure of lunar light.
Halasana, the plough so true,
Turns the earth of me and you.
Matsyasana, the fish that glides,
Through streams where timeless wisdom hides.
Paschimottanasana, deep fold within,
Releases sorrow, sheds old skin.
Bhujangasana, cobra’s rise,
Eyes aglow, both fierce and wise.
Salabhasana, locust’s leap,
Awakens strength from dormant sleep.
Dhanurasana, the archer’s bow,
Draws focus sharp, lets purpose grow.
Ardha Matsyendrasana, twist and turn,
Where inner fires gently burn.
Kakasana, the balanced crow,
Shows the will to rise and grow.
Pada Hastasana, humble bend,
To earth and sky our hearts we send.
Trikonasana, the triangle bright,
A shape of balance, truth, and light.
So let us breathe, and let us bend,
From dawn’s rise to daylight’s end.
In Yoga’s arms and Pranayama’s grace,
We find our home, our sacred space.
What gain we find in breath and pose?
A calmer mind, the body knows.
Relief from stress, from pain, from fear—
A heart that beats more true, sincere.
It builds our strength, yet keeps us kind,
It clears the fog within the mind.
It lifts the soul to heights unknown,
Where peace and stillness gently grow.
So let us breathe, and let us bend,
From dawn’s rise to daylight’s end.
In Yoga’s arms and Pranayama’s grace,
We find our truth, our healing space.
