In the tapestry of divinity, Shailaputri weaves,
A goddess whose presence eternally perceives,
From Himalayan heights to the depths of the earth,
Her spirit guides us with unending worth.
She is the dawn, the genesis of divine grace,
In her Muladhara abode, we find our place,
Crimson like the Earth, her essence so profound,
Within her, the universe’s secrets are found.
As Yogis seek the awakening of the core,
On Shailaputri’s day, they meditate and explore,
Initiating into Shakti Mantras, they aspire,
To walk the path of wisdom and higher desire.
She symbolizes Earth’s strength and foundation,
The hills, rivers, oceans, her divine narration,
Her coherent and distinct qualities combine,
In Shailputri’s embrace, Earth’s soul does shine.
She’s the spark of life in each human heart,
A reminder that from Earth, we all depart,
Shailputri, the guardian of Mother Earth’s art,
In her sacred essence, we find a fresh start.
With each step, we climb towards the divine,
In Shailputri’s presence, we brightly shine,
A goddess of power, love, and endless grace,
She’s the sacred essence that we forever embrace.

Why is the heart troubled so?
Will the world meet its final blow?
With these thoughts, no gain is found,
Humanity ponders, can it be bound?
The answer echoes a resounding “no,”
So what’s the use of dwelling, to and fro?
In the year two thousand, EM I, California’s dread,

A star devours a neighboring sphere,
In a cosmic feast, its presence clear.
Not stolen, but gently taken away,

মানুষের এত হিংসা কেন?
এত লোভ কেন?
দিশেহারা হয়ে মানুষ ছুটে বেরাচ্ছে
নিজের স্বার্থসিদ্ধির জন্য।
একটি মানুষ নিজের সুবিধার জন্য
আরেক জনকে মারছে।
মানুষ বিদ্রুপ করছে সেইসব যুগাবতারকে
যাঁদের মানুষই ভগবানের মতো পুজো করছে।
এ কোন পৃথিবীতে আমরা বাস করছি
যেখানে চারিদিকে এত অনাচার।
এ কোন সকালবেলায় আমরা আছি
যা দেখে মনে হয় রাত্রের ঘুটঘুটে অন্ধকার।
কালো কলুষতা আর বিষে সূর্যের
শুভ্র আলো ঢাকা পরে যায়।
সেই কালো কলুষতার মেঘ কাটবে
মনুষ্যত্বের উত্তরণের আলোয়।
নতুন পৃথিবীতে থাকবে না অন্ধকার
মানুষের মনে সেই আলো দেখা দেবে।
নতুন প্রজন্মের হাত ধরে
পৃথিবী জীবনের আলোয় উদ্ভাসিত হবে।

Earth – Two point Zero
পৃথিবীর মতো আরেকটি গ্রহ
আবিস্কার হয়েছে।
দু হাজার পʼনের সালে জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানীরা
এটির খোঁজ পেয়েছে।
এটির বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম
কেপলার-চারশো বাহান্ন-বি।
আরেকটি নাম পৃথিবী-দুই বা
আর্থ-টু পয়েন্ট জিরো।
এর পরিবেশ অনেকটাই
পৃথিবীর মতো।
তাই একে বলে
পৃথিবীর বোন-খুড়তুতো।
পৃথিবীর মতোই পৃথিবী -দুই-এর
সমুদ্র আছে।
তাই গাছপালা থাকার সম্ভাবনা
তার কাছে।
পৃথিবী-দুই পৃথিবীর থেকে
প্রায় পাঁচগুণ বড়।
এর ব্যাসার্ধ সে কারণে
প্রায় দ্বিগুণ বড়।
পৃথিবী-দুই গ্রহটি পৃথিবী থেকে প্রায়
আঠারোশো লাইট ইয়ার দূরে।
এটি যে তারার গ্রহ, তার চারিদিকে
সে তিনশো পঁচাশি দিনে একপাক ঘোরে।
ঐ তারাটির বৈজ্ঞানিক নাম
কেপলার-চারশো-বাহান্ন।
এটা সূর্য্যের থেকে
বড় অনেকটাই।
আর সূর্য্যের থেকে কুড়ি পারসেন্ট বেশী
এর আলোর রোশনাই।
পৃথিবী-দুই থেকে কেপলারকে
দেখতে লাগে সূর্য্যের মতো।
সূর্য কেপলারের থেকে প্রায়
দেড় মিলিয়ান ইয়ার ছোটো।
পৃথিবী-দুই-এর সবথেকে বেশী ও
কম তাপমাত্রা সহনশীল হওয়ায়,
এখানে জীবজগতের অস্তিত্ব
থাকা সম্ভবনাময়।
হয়ত কয়েক হাজার বছর পরে
পৃথিবী-দুই-এ মানুষের পদার্পন ঘটবে।
তারও অনেক অনেক বছর পরে হয়তবা
মানুষের থাকার জায়গা হয়ে উঠবে।

মন খারাপ কেন?
পৃথিবী ধ্বংস হবে তাই?
এসব ভেবে কোনও লাভ নাই।
প্রশ্ন হচ্চ্ছে মানুষ কি এটা আটকাতে পারবে?
উত্তরটা তো ʼনাʼ, তাই ভেবে কি হবে?
দু হাজার কুড়ি সালে ক্যালিফোরনিয়ার এম আই টির
এক এস্ট্রোফিজিসিস্ট দেখেছেন –
একটা তারা সামনের গ্রহকে গিলে খাচ্ছে।
ভেঙ্গে চুরে নয়,আস্ত গ্রহটাকে গিলে ফেললো।
হঠাৎ তারার মধ্যে গ্রহটা চলে গেল ।
তারার নিজস্ব আলো আছে, গ্রহের নেই।
বয়েস হʼলে তারারা, একদিন মরবেই।
সেই সময়ে কাছের গ্রহদের খেয়ে সে আরও বড় হবে।
আর সেই সব বেচারা গ্রহের প্রাাণ যাবে।
এস্ট্রোনমিস্টদের গবেষণায় জানা যাচ্ছে –
এখন থেকে পাঁচ বিলিয়ন বছর পরে
পৃথিবীকে পেটে পুরে
সূর্য্য আরও বড় হবে।
আশার কখা এটাাই যে সূর্য্য
প্রথমে মঙ্গলকে তারপর শুক্রকে খাবে।
তরপর পৃথিবীর দিকে হাত বাড়াবে।
এখনও চিন্তা? এসব ছেড়ে, বাঁচুন।
ক্যলকুলেসনের তো কিছু ভুল হʼতে পারে,
তাই এবারে হাসুন।
