In realms of wisdom, where knowledge reigns,
Ma Saraswati, eternal muse, sustains.
With veena in hand and lotus throne,
She graces our minds, our spirits she hones.
Goddess of arts, of music, of speech,
Her blessings upon us, a celestial reach.
In the tapestry of life, she weaves,
Inspiration she brings, as our soul believes.
With books as her garland, she lights the way,
Guiding seekers through night and day.
Her wisdom flows in rivers vast,
Quenching the thirst of hearts steadfast.
In temples adorned with sacred art,
Devotees gather, their voices a part
Of mantras sung in her divine praise,
As incense smoke spirals in her grace.
From the silence of dawn to twilight’s hue,
She whispers secrets, both old and new.
In classrooms and sanctuaries alike,
Her presence brings solace, her aura strikes.
With eloquence, she paints the skies,
Stirring hearts with her melodic cries.
In every brushstroke, every verse,
Her essence lingers, a blessing diverse.
She dwells in the pages of ancient lore,
And in the minds of scholars, she does implore
A thirst for knowledge, a hunger for truth,
For in her embrace, there’s eternal youth.
So, on this day of Saraswati Puja divine,
Let us bow before her, let our spirits align
With the flow of wisdom, with the melody sweet,
And may Ma Saraswati’s blessings complete
Our journey of learning, our quest for light,
Guiding us through the darkest night.

Love’s Journey- Embracing Tradition and Change

In ancient days where love held sway,
Kamadeva’s grace did brightly play,
In Khajuraho’s monuments fair,
His essence lingered in the air.
But as the ages onward flowed,
Love’s open display would erode,
Middle Ages saw a veiled view,
Public affection bid adieu.
Yet in the modern tide’s embrace,
Valentine’s emerged, a newfound grace,
From screens of TV to love letters penned,
A cultural shift, a trend to amend.
India’s heart, reluctant at first,
To Cupid’s arrow, felt a thirst,
Resistance from tradition’s hold,
But change unfurls, a story bold.
Religious fervor, cultural cries,
From Hindu, Muslim, Christian ties,
Valentine’s deemed a foreign face,
A challenge to tradition’s grace.
Rejecting love in public sight,
To keep tradition’s flame alight.
Yet amidst the clash of old and new,
Valentine’s Day breaks through,
A symbol of love, both old and new,
In hearts of many, it finds its due.
But controversy still remains,
Postcolonial critique strains,
Valentine’s Day, a tool of might,
For Western culture’s spreading light.
Cow Hug Day, a twist unique,
A call to hearts, a gentle tweak,
A reminder of roots, traditions deep,
In the embrace of creatures, we find peace.
As debates rage on, passions high,
Valentine’s Day still fills the sky,
A celebration, love’s sweet call,
In India’s story, one and all.
